More Free Outdoor Concerts at Wu Tsai QRT.yrd This Spring

If you’ve been craving live music under that golden La Jolla sky, you’re in luck—the Wu Tsai QRT.yrd Concert Series is back with a fresh lineup of free outdoor concerts starting this April at The Conrad.

This season’s theme, Local Voices, is all about spotlighting San Diego’s homegrown talent, from jazz prodigies to high-energy Americana bands.

Local Legends, Big Sound

The series kicks off with Finnegan Blue, a high-octane Americana band blending Irish folk, bluegrass, and New Orleans brass vibes. Before they take the stage, Blue Eagle Vigil of the Viejas band of Kumeyaay will open with a powerful Bird Singing ceremony—one of San Diego’s oldest musical traditions.

Expect every show in the series to bring something different but equally electric.

Something for Every Vibe

From the smooth jazz of the Kahlil Childs Quartet to soulful vocals by Leonard Patton, and the genre-blending dreaminess of Helena Holleran, this lineup has all the range. Closing it out on June 11? The all-female powerhouse Sabrosas Latin Orchestra with a sizzling salsa set that’ll make it impossible not to dance.
