Wagyu Fries, Wagyu Burger & More On Rare Society’s New Happy Hour Menu

Some would say it’s rare to find a happy hour menu that’s worth the hype, but Rare Society, the stylish project of Trust Restaurant Group (TRG), the team behind acclaimed Fort Oak in Mission Hills and Trust Restaurant in Hillcrest, is intent on not letting you down!

Served Wednesday to Sunday from 5 – 6PM, the happy hour menu ranges from $9-16 and includes delicious light and hearty bites as well as spirited cocktails that will brighten the dullest of days.

Wagyu Fries, Wagyu Burger + More On Rare Society’s New Happy Hour Menu

Hearty options include the Grilled Jumbo Wings with red wine dressing, lemon, mint, feta cheese, oregano; Ground Wagyu Asada Fries drizzled with mornay and cheddar cheese; or Rare Society’s signature Wood Grilled Wagyu Beef Burger topped with Boschetto al tartufo (truffle cheese), onion marmalade, lots of onions cooked down with black garlic red wine vinegar and truffle oil, and served on a house-made brioche bun with a side of fries. It’s only available at the bar and patio during Happy Hour.

For those opting for something on the lighter side before cutting into a juicy steak for dinner, guests can choose a Chickpea Hummus with sumac and caramelized shallots and a side of freshly grilled pita, or Grilled Shrimp with Scampi sauce and garlic bread for mopping up all the goodness.

Quench your thirst with select classic drinks including a Vodka Cranberry, House Old Fashioned, or if you’re feeling spontaneous, take a sip from the Daily Whim, a rotating cocktail specially mixed to highlight fresh ingredients of the moment. Select wine and cocktails are $8 and draft beer is $5.

For those ready to “seas” the day, Rare Society also hosts $1 Oyster happy hour on Wednesdays from 5 – 6PM.
