Shake Shack Set To Open Doors To Their Fifth San Diego Outpost, Located In Carlsbad, On January 12th

Shake Shack is thrilled to announce it will open its doors in Carlsbad on Wednesday, January 12th. The Carlsbad Shack is Shake Shack’s fifth location in the San Diego area and is located in Carlsbad, where it will be a part of The Beacon La Costa, an upscale collection of restaurants, shops, and lifestyle concepts.

The Beacon serves a laid-back, sophisticated beach community that is dense with families and young professionals that are drawn to experiential concepts. The Carlsbad Shack will be open 11AM to 10PM daily. The Shack provides numerous dining options for guests as it features a beautifully designed dining room and an outdoor patio. Guests can also place orders to-go at the Shack or preorder for pickup or delivery via the Shack App or web.

Featuring all the classics

The Carlsbad Shack will feature all the classics, including the ShackBurger®, Chick’n Shack, crinkle-cut fries and hand-spun shakes. The Carlsbad Shack will serve up our SoCal regional burger; the Roadside Double featuring a double Swiss cheeseburger with Dijon mustard and onions simmered in beer. The Shack will also serve an array of beverage options including Shack-made Lemonade, Shack-canned Wine, Shackmeister Ale and local beers including Stone Delicious IPA, Cali Creamin’, Alesmith .394, and Modern Times Orderville. Guests can expect seasonal burgers and beverages to join the menu in the coming weeks.

New Walk-Up Window

In an exciting addition, the Carlsbad Shack will feature a Shack Track walk-up window, which gives guests the ability to pre-order via the Shack app and pick up their food from the exterior of the Shack. Shack Track is Shake Shack’s digital pre-ordering and fulfillment experience. “We’re thrilled to finally open our doors at The Beacon,” said Andrew McCaughan, Chief Development Officer at Shake Shack. “Our newest Carlsbad Shack is beautifully designed and we’re so excited to finally welcome in the community to dine with us.”

Standing for something good

Shake Shack will donate a dollar for every burger sold on opening day to Kids for Peace. Kids for Peace is a California-based global nonprofit that provides a platform for youth to actively engage in socially conscious leadership, community service, arts, environmental stewardship and global friendships. Founded in 2006 by a mother and a high school honors student, Kids for Peace now engages over 17 million youth through their three programs: The Great Kindness Challenge, The Peace Pledge Program and Kind, Creative & Connected in the Age of Covid-19.
