Societe Brewing Celebrates 10th Anniversary With Events And Old Town Tasting Room
Societe Brewing celebrating their 10th Anniversary this June, and they have some exciting news to go along with the milestone:
They are opening their first satellite tasting room in Old Town in early 2023!
Beer Folk Unite!
The brewery opened its first location in Kearny Mesa 10 years ago. Since then Societe has grown its legion of loyal fans. One beer at a time, they led by their rally cry, “Beer Folk Unite.”
Having just started canning its beer before the pandemic shut down in March 2020, going from a highly on-site focused distribution to an ever-expanding distribution and rapid growth, Societe tripled production setting itself up for further expansion into Los Angeles and Northern California.
Bringing something New to Old Town
Bringing its first satellite location to San Diego’s historic Old Town, Societe Brewing looks forward to further establishing itself as an unquestioned part of the city’s beer fabric. The space in its entirety isn’t expected to open until early 2023. But Societe fans can look forward to a Fall 2022 pop-up!
Until then, the 2,686 square-foot tasting room will undergo renovations. They will add a beer bar, retail shop and onsite kitchen. Reflecting the vibrant colors and patterns in Societe’s new futuristic branding, the Old Town tasting room will be flooded with light and color. But, as usual, the place will be buzzing with beer folk sipping the classic beers Societe drinkers have come to know and love.
The Tenth Ann’y
In celebration of its 10th Anniversary, Societe is launching the Tenth Ann’y. A 10th anniversary exclusive 10% ABV Triple IPA, and one of the hoppiest drinks the brewery has ever created.
The Tenth Ann’y is a celebration of hops and the tireless passion that makes Societe what it is.
Anniversary merch + Special events
Additionally, throughout the month of June, Societe will be selling anniversary glassware and shirts, while also hosting special events at its Kearny Mesa location.
For beer lovers who have celebrated with Societe since the beginning, all month long wear a first, second, or third-anniversary shirt, or present an anniversary glass and receive all draft pours for the coinciding price, $1 for 1 year anniversary, and so on. Wear a shirt from any other anniversary, or present an anniversary glass and receive half off all draft pours.

June 4th: Screen Printing and Chacho’s Taco Truck Specials
El Callejón Project will be on-site from 1PM to 5PM doing live screen printing of a special edition of the limited-run 10th Anniversary shirt and Chacho Taco will be offering a special menu. Bring your own 100% cotton t-shirt to have the 10th anniversary logo printed on it at the event!
June 10th, 18th, and 24th – Factory Tour and Tasting with Founder, Doug Constantine
For the price of a Pupil 6-pack, $11.99, customers will get a guided beer tour of the Societe Brewing Company facility led by the founder/CEO, Douglas Constantiner.
