Our Encinitas Walking Food Tour Is For Ages 16+.

Encinitas is the surf and flower capital of the world! The Beach Boys’ famous song, “Surfin’ USA,” was inspired by Encinitas, and now you can explore the culinary delights of this chic beach bum town as well! Grab your board or take a plate as the laid-back vibe of Encinitas’ surf community rolls into a hand full of the best restaurants in San Diego.

You’ll savor an array of bites along the historical Highway 101, originally named El Camino Real and translated as “The King’s Highway. Take a relaxing stroll through the Self-Realization Fellowship Meditation Gardens before heading full steam to the famous Encinitas boathouses coined, SS Encinitas and SS Moonlight.

Learn the importance of Encinitas to the local area and how the railroad transformed this historic coastal town from farm-land to a surf & food mecca.

This tour isn’t complete without samples from the best restaurants in Encinitas. You’ll start your tour with a few bites at the local’s’ favorite breakfast joint, then it’s off to the streets of Paris for a cafe-inspired bite.

Make your way to the spice shop for an expert’s recipe blend, afterward filling your tummy with the area’s best (and only) coal fired pizza joint, and finally end your afternoon with a fresh sea-bite straight from the shores of Maine.
