Imagine Streets Without Traffic!

The Bike Coalition shares the City of San Diego’s Climate Action Goal of achieving 6% bike commuter mode share by 2020. By bringing the public out to open streets, CicloSDias allows participants to enjoy connecting with communities and local businesses while catching a glimpse of what streets would be like without car traffic.

“We’re looking forward to showing people this Mid City route, and watching people walk, bike and roll down these busy streets,” says Bike Coalition Executive Director Andy Hanshaw. “At CicloSDias, we recreate roads for families to enjoy neighborhoods outside of a car in the hopes they continue to choose other modes of transportation in the future.”
