Reinforced, Restored, And Reimagined: The Brick Hotel Is Now Open!

Set in a historic 1888 building located in the heart of Downtown Oceanside, The Brick Hotel has been reinforced, restored, and reimagined into a modern boutique vacation destination.

Owned by a fourth-generation local Oceanside family, the ten-room hotel is now open and welcoming guests.

The Brick Hotel includes two forthcoming dining concepts from Grind and Prosper Hospitality group, Q&A Oyster Bar and Restaurant on the ground floor, and Cococabana rooftop bar, which offers stunning panoramic views of the Pacific and downtown Oceanside.

Steeped in history…but contemporary

While the building is steeped in history, The Brick Hotel is a truly contemporary, downtown-living boutique hotel with amenities, but is also completely self-check-in if preferred.

The property is just a short walk from the Oceanside pier, museums, theaters, restaurants, and the popular Thursday Sunset market.

But the property itself has enough to keep you entertained, and not only for hotel guests – a ground-floor restaurant, rooftop bar, outdoor cafe, cocktail lounge, and access to the neighboring beer garden.

Two new dining concepts

Grind & Prosper Culinary Director, Chef Quinnton “Q” Austin of Louisiana Purchase in North Park, designed the menu at Q&A, which will serve chargrilled oysters, along with a similar beverage program to Louisiana Purchase with French Quarter style cocktails.

The intimate ground-floor restaurant is to give off a real New Orleans vibe, featuring a hidden patio running behind The Brick Hotel.

The NOLA native chef will also oversee the small-bites menu program upstairs at CocoCabana, which has its own exhibition kitchen. Cococabana offers major boho vibes and plenty of space to relax and soak up the sun.

More to explore

The Brick Hotel property is also home to the outdoor Succulent Café, located on a hidden patio where you can stop in for cup a of coffee and admire and purchase succulent arrangements.

Next door to Q&A and The Brick Hotel’s entrance is Frankie’s Cocktail Lounge, a lavish lounge with leather booths, gorgeous chandeliers, and a stunning bar that extends the length of the space. Guests can stop in for an expertly crafted cocktail by one of their professional mixologists.

Just around the corner is Stone Beer Garden, a relaxed and intimate taproom and retail store with an asphalt patio area that has been converted into a luscious garden filled with native trees and plants.

Come explore all The Brick Hotel has to offer, whether for a stay or just a visit. For more info or to make a reservation, click here, and follow them on Instagram.
