The Forging Futures Gala returns, bringing together community leaders, military supporters, and industry professionals for an unforgettable evening aboard the USS Midway Museum.
Hosted by Workshops for Warriors (WFW), this prestigious fundraising event directly supports veteran career training in advanced manufacturing, ensuring service members have the skills needed for high-demand jobs.
An Evening of Impact and Celebration
This year’s gala aims to raise $500,000 to expand WFW’s nationally recognized training programs. The event will feature:
- An elegant dinner with breathtaking waterfront views
- Inspiring testimonials from WFW graduates
- Live entertainment by Bonnie Foster Productions
- Exciting live auction with exclusive items and experiences
Funds raised will help WFW open a new 25,000 sq. ft. training facility in Barrio Logan, increasing their capacity to train 360+ veterans annually. The event also supports vital wraparound services such as housing assistance, resume coaching, and interview preparation—ensuring veterans successfully transition into civilian careers.

Since 2008, WFW has trained over 1,400 veterans, awarding 18,000+ industry certifications in CNC machining and welding. This gala is a call to action to empower those who have served our country by providing them with life-changing career opportunities with the help of veteran career training.
