Manchester Grand Hyatt Goes All Out for Labor Day Weekend

Manchester Grand Hyatt is sending summer off in style with a Labor Day Weekend celebration that perfectly captures why we love San Diego’s waterfront scene.

The iconic bayfront hotel is pulling out all the stops with live music, DJ sets, and coastal cuisine at the recently refreshed Sally’s, all set against those unbeatable views of San Diego Bay and Coronado Island.

Poolside Vibes Meet Local Spirits

The Sounds of Summer Poolside Music Series has been building momentum every weekend in August, and Labor Day Weekend delivers the grand finale. Friday kicks off with DJ Josh Way from 1 PM to 5 PM paired with Blue Ice tastings, while Saturday brings DJ Legend and Tip Top spirit samplings from noon to 4 PM.

Sunday features DJ Travis from 1 PM to 5 PM, plus tastings from Busa and Uncle Ed Vodka. The combination of an upbeat musical vibe with poolside bay views sounds like the perfect way to ease into Sunday evening.

Sally’s Brings the Coastal Flavors

The recently refreshed Sally’s Fish House & Bar extends their coastal-inspired brunch through Labor Day Weekend, running 11 AM to 2 PM daily. Sunday adds Live Music by the Bay with Emmy Jones from noon to 4 PM, creating that ideal soundtrack for waterfront dining.

The tasting activations featuring El Cristiano Tequila and Kulena Rum Works add a local spirits element that pairs perfectly with Sally’s fresh coastal cuisine. It’s exactly the kind of elevated yet relaxed dining experience that makes special occasions feel effortless.

Marina Music Sessions

Sally’s Seaside Sounds continues with live music performances by the marina on Wednesday, August 27, and Sunday, August 30, both running noon to 4 PM with matching cocktail tastings. The marina setting creates an intimate atmosphere that feels both sophisticated and genuinely San Diego.

The timing works perfectly for that leisurely weekend pace where we can drift from poolside music to waterfront dining without feeling rushed or overscheduled.
