Belmont Park has a Packed End-of-Month Lineup in Mission Beach
From a live butterfly exhibit to a kids’ entrepreneur market and a full week dedicated to honoring first responders, Belmont Park is closing out May with a strong run of community-focused events. Here’s what’s coming up.

Butterflies Up Close
Hosted by Flutterby Ranch, a live butterfly exhibit comes to the park for one afternoon – giving kids and adults the chance to observe butterflies up close while learning about their life cycles, migration patterns, habitats, and the environmental challenges they face.
It’s free for all park guests and makes for a genuinely engaging afternoon outing for the family.
Young Entrepreneurs Take Over
The Children’s Entrepreneurial Market returns to Belmont Park, produced by Kids Markets. Thirty young entrepreneurs between the ages of five and 17 will run their own booths, selling products they’ve created themselves.
It’s a fun way to support local youth while encouraging creativity and a little entrepreneurial spirit. And kids tend to love seeing other kids running their own businesses.

A Week for First Responders
Belmont Park’s annual First Responders Week returns to recognize and thank the police officers, firefighters, and EMTs who serve the community every day.
Active-duty first responders receive complimentary unlimited ride wristbands for themselves plus up to three dependents, giving families a full day at the park on the house.
Verification is handled through GovX for a seamless redemption process.
