Close Out Summer With Skillet, Saliva, and 60 Craft Beers at SeaWorld
SeaWorld San Diego is sending summer off with smoke, a serious beer list, and a stage. Bayside Brews & BBQ returns and runs on select dates through September.
The new part this year is live music. For the first time in the event’s history, the festival comes with a concert series, and every performance is included with park admission.

Three Saturday Nights of Early 2000s Rock
The concert lineup runs three Saturdays back to back, and it leans into the era you still know every word to. Saliva opens on August 15 with “Click Click Boom,” “Always,” and “Ladies and Gentlemen.”
Uncle Kracker takes August 22, pulling from two decades of “Follow Me,” “When the Sun Goes Down,” and “Drift Away.” Skillet closes the run on August 29 with 12 certified singles and the 5x-platinum “Monster.”
Reserved seating is available as an upgrade if you want a locked-in sightline instead of finding a spot early.

Nine San Diego Breweries, More Than 60 Pours
AleSmith, Ballast Point, Belching Beaver, Harland, Karl Strauss, Mike Hess, Mother Earth, Pizza Port, and Stone are all pouring. That is a genuine cross-section of the county in one place.
The range covers crisp lagers, blonde ales, hoppy IPAs, smooth ambers, rich stouts, and seasonal one-offs. Buy a sampling lanyard and work your way across the park rather than committing to a single pint.
Loaded Potatoes, Mac and Cheese, and Build-Your-Own Hot Dogs
Executive Chef Zuric Ramirez built the menu around food huts scattered through the park, so eating here is a walking project. Over at Wild Arctic, the Arctic Hut handles loaded baked potatoes and the Penguin Hut does loaded mac and cheese.
The Nautilus Hut nearby is where the hot dogs live, piled with BBQ and whatever classic toppings you want on top. Finish at Waterfront, where the wings, tots, and onion rings all get a BBQ treatment.
$14 a Month Covers the Rest of Your Summer
If you are going more than once, the math sorts itself out. Annual Passes are $14 a month during the Summer Sale, which gets you unlimited admission with no blockout dates and every concert in the series.
That same pass carries through SeaWorld’s other events the rest of the year, not just this one. The sale is running for a limited time.
See you there!
Grab a lanyard, find a spot near the stage, and let someone else handle the grilling for once. It is a good last call on summer.
