ArtWalk At Liberty Station Celebrates 15 Years With A Modified Experience

150 artists at the heart of Liberty Station

The fine art exhibition will take place in the heart of Liberty Station across North Promenade and Legacy Plaza/Luce Court among the beautifully landscaped park-like setting with picturesque gardens and a show-stopping fountain. Locals and tourists will have the opportunity to purchase artwork from more than 150 local, national and international artists who have been creating stunning pieces of work during quarantine.

“This year we are bringing some much-needed color and art into people’s lives with a brand-new layout to allow for proper physical distancing,” said Sandi Cottrell, Director of ArtWalk San Diego. “As we ring in our 15th year, ArtWalk @ Liberty Station serves as a beacon of light for the art community and will showcase our most diverse range of artists from across all mediums of art, traveling from the US, Mexico and beyond.”

Appreciating art while staying safe

Numerous health precautions have been put into place in accordance with the CDC Guidelines and the San Diego Events Coalition including the requirement of facial coverings and temperature checks for all attendees, artists, volunteers and participants, frequent cleaning and sanitation of restrooms, hand-sanitizing stations and more. Each artist booth will be spaced a minimum of 8-feet apart along with a 12 to 15 foot wide walkway to allow for proper physical distancing.
