San Diego Museum Month Returns With Half-Off Admission to 75+ Museums
San Diego Museum Month is back, bringing an exciting celebration of the San Diego art community, offering half-off admission to over 75+ museums, aquariums, historic sites, gardens, and more.
Presented by the San Diego Foundation as part of its Fifty & Forward Campaign, this month-long celebration is your chance to experience the region’s vibrant arts and culture scene at a great price.

A Month of Discovery
Museum Month is the perfect time to revisit your favorite museums or check out new ones you’ve always wanted to explore. The program continues to grow, featuring an ever-expanding list of participating institutions that showcase San Diego’s diverse cultural offerings.
From history and science to nature and music, there’s something for everyone!
How to Participate
- Pick up a free printed Museum Month pass at over 80 public libraries across San Diego County starting January 24.
- Each pass grants up to four half-priced admissions at any participating museum.
- Use your pass multiple times throughout February to visit as many museums as you’d like!
- Digital passes will be available beginning February 1 on the San Diego Museum Council website.

A Tradition of Cultural Enrichment
Launched in 1989, San Diego Museum Month has become a beloved annual tradition. Last year, over 110,000 people took advantage of the opportunity to experience San Diego’s world-class museums at half the cost. This year, with more participating locations than ever, the event continues its mission to make arts and culture accessible to all.

New Additions!
The San Diego Museum Council has announced NINE participating locations in Tijuana, including several fun new additions:
- Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT)
- Tijuana Aquarium / Acuario Centro Cultural Tijuana
- El Cubo (The Cube)
- Museum of the Californias / Museo de las Californias*
- Tijuana History Museum / Museo de Historia de Tijuana
- Municipal Institute of Art and Culture / IMAC Instituto Municipal de Arte y Cultura
- El Trompo Museo Interactivo Tijuana
- Museo de La Lucha Libre Mexicana (MULLME)

This is (by far!) the biggest Museum Month ever. (In 2020, just 40 museums participated.)
