San Diego Snow Day: Town & Country Resort Brings Snow to SoCal
Town and Country Resort in Mission Valley is bringing winter wonderland vibes to San Diego’s doorstep this Christmas week! December 24 through 31, the action-packed holiday programming boasts an array of festive events and offerings, from mixology classes and holiday crafts to an actual snow day.
So rally family or your most festive crew and set up camp for a holiday staycation centered around togetherness…and maybe some snowball fights!
Snow Day
Snow is on the forecast at Town and Country Resort! On Friday, December 29, from 10 AM to 4 PM, experience a SoCal snow day with the resort’s first-ever Frosty Fun Zone. Play in the snow, sled down a hill with complimentary sleds, and warm up with hot chocolate and holiday cocktails from Trixie.
New Year’s Eve Mixology Classes
On December 28 at 2:30 PM and December 29 at 4 PM, adults can enjoy complimentary mixology classes at Monkey Bar. In the whiskey class, you’ll learn about the distillation process of whiskey and barrel aging and create two whiskey cocktails—the old-fashioned and paper plane.
The vodka + gin class will focus on how vodka and gin are created, followed by a guided demonstration of the classic martini and negroni.
Seasons Eatings at ARLO
The resort’s signature restaurant ARLO will offer dining experiences on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve. And they’re serving a festive Naughty Nog cocktail made with eggnog, vodka, Amaretto Disaronno, Fernet-Branca, and cinnamon throughout December.
Family Activities
All week long, families and friends can come together for Disney trivia nights, cookie decorating sessions, bingo rounds, and even duck races at the main pool—all free holiday fun to spread some cheer through New Year’s Eve! Find a full list of activities here.
