Step Into Baja Glamour at Tierra y Mar, Harrah’s Newest Restaurant

Harrah’s just did something really cool. Tierra y Mar is their brand-new $10.7 million Baja-inspired restaurant, and it’s the kind of opening that makes the drive out to Funner an easy yes. Think elevated Mexican seafood, a serious tequila bar, and a design that genuinely transports you – right off the casino floor.

Old World Hacienda Meets Coastal Chic

JCJ Architecture pulled off something special here. The 7,245-square-foot space blends Cycladic and Moorish design influences into what can only be described as a Mexican hacienda crossed with a chic coastal resort.

You walk through a striking entry portal framed by warm wood columns and layered archways, and suddenly you’re somewhere else entirely. Handcrafted wood ceiling beams, tropical plantings, natural stone, and a mosaic fractured tile pathway carry you from the bar into the dining room.

It’s the kind of room you’re going to want to photograph before the food even arrives.

Chef Bryan Texis on the Baja Coast

Chef Bryan Texis is leading the kitchen with a menu rooted in Baja California and Mexico’s regional traditions – and there’s a lot to be excited about.

The “Funner” Beef Birria, Camarones al Diablo, and Classic Pescado al Talla are all on the list, alongside more creative takes on traditional ingredients and cooking techniques. This is the kind of menu where it’s hard to order just one thing.

35+ Tequilas and a Room to Match

The bar stocks over 35 premium tequilas and mezcals beneath a dramatic chandelier. That alone is reason to show up early. Past a breeze block wall, you’ll find intimate booths, cozy alcoves, and a private dining room with custom rope and bead-and-ball privacy screens that seats up to 14.

Great for a group dinner, a celebration, or just an excuse to try a few more pours.
