A Royal Feast Lands in Otay Ranch

We’ve got some sizzling news that’s about to set the South Bay culinary scene on fire. Sura All-You-Can-Eat Korean BBQ has just fired up its grills in Otay Ranch and this place is about to become your new obsession.

Sura Korean BBQ

A Culinary Kingdom

Imagine walking into a 4,500-square-foot paradise where the air is filled with the mouthwatering aroma of grilling meats. That’s Sura for you—a hybrid all-you-can-eat concept that’s bringing the royal treatment to Otay Ranch.

The brainchild of Joon Lee, Cris Liang, and Andy Ahn (you might know them from Common Theory Public House), Sura is named after an old Korean word meaning “king’s meal.” And boy, does it live up to its name!

Choose Your Own Adventure

Here’s the deal: you’ve got three tiers to choose from—Classic, Premium, and Sura. Each one comes with its own selection of meats. We’re talking everything from top blade and brisket to prime ribeye and octopus.

Along with your chosen tier, you get access to a cold buffet line (hello, fresh meat and sides!), a hot buffet line (Korean, Chinese, and even Mexican-inspired dishes, anyone?), and—get this—unlimited soda and soft serve ice cream. It’s like all our food dreams came true at once!

Local Flavors, Global Tastes

What we love most about Sura is how it brings a bit of everything to the table. Joon Lee, a Korean-American Eastlake High alum, and Cris Liang, born in Mexico with Chinese heritage and a Bonita High grad, have created a menu that’s as diverse as San Diego itself.

“We wanted to bring high-quality Korean barbecue to the South Bay,” Lee said. “No more long drives to Convoy—now you can get your KBBQ fix right here in Otay Ranch!”

Sura Korean BBQ

Sura opens its doors from 4 PM Monday to Wednesday and from 11:30 AM Thursday to Sunday. And get this—if you finish your meal within an hour, you might snag a discount for your next visit. Talk about motivation to eat fast!

See you there!

So, are you ready to eat like royalty? Head over to Sura All-You-Can-Eat Korean BBQ at 1960 Optima Street. It’s time to get grilling!

See you there, San Diego!
