Socially-Distanced Halloween Happenings Around San Diego

AleSmith Brewing Company

AleSmith Brewing Company is embracing the Halloween spirit with their Howl-o-ween costume contest on Thursday starting at 6:30PM! Don your doggos in their finest costumes for a chance to win Best in Show, Most Creative, Most Hilarious or Honorable Mention – prizes include Cycle Dog collars, bowls, Pride Bites dog toys and AleSmith branded dog hoodies.

Keep the momentum going Friday through Saturday during their Evil Dead Red Weekend, and be sure to wear your costume to receive a raffle ticket, plus a chance to be one of the three winners announced on November 1st – prizes include AleSmith swag and/or gift cards. Candy gift bags will be available for any trick-or-treaters that stop by, while the grown-ups can indulge in brownies from Amore Cheesecakes, made with Evil Dead Red Ale and available for purchase in AleSmith’s gift shop.

The Tasting Room will be open Wednesday and Thursday that week from 3PM to 8PM, as well as Friday and Saturday from noon to 8PM, and Sunday from noon to 6PM. All festivities will be conducted in compliance with COVID-19 safety regulations.

Bub’s @ the Beach

Bub’s @ the Beach will host a socially-distanced, 20s-themed soiree, complete with Skull Fashioned cocktails with Tillamore Dew and skull-shaped ice cubes, as well as their delicious wings, tots and other house specialties!

Pacific Beach AleHouse

Have a hoppy Halloween at Pacific Beach AleHouse, where you can get your fill of brews and views with $5 house beer available all day! With plenty of outdoor space, plus 25% capacity seating indoors, you can rest assured that your Halloween will be completely pandemic-friendly.

The Taco Stand

The Taco Stand understands that trick-or-treating might look a little different this year, which is why they’re offering $1 Paletas on Halloween! Whether you opt for Oreo, Pistachio, Coconut or one of their many other indulgent flavors, this is one treat you can count on this year. Maybe don’t throw this one in your pillowcase!

See you there….and stay healthy, San Diego!
